Welcome to my website

Hello. My name is Adam Larios. I am an Associate Professor in the math department at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln. I was previously a Visiting Assistant Professor (postdoc) in the math department at Texas A&M University.  I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of California-Irvine.  I am interested in partial differential equations, mathematical analysis, and numerical analysis. My work focuses on mathematical fluid dynamics.  At Texas A&M, I worked with Professor Ciprian Foias, Professor Jean-Luc Guermond and the other members of the numerical analysis group.  My advisor at UC Irvine was Professor Edriss S. Titi, and I also work with several excellent collaborators at the Los Alamos National Lab, including Dr. Beth Wingate and Dr. Mark Petersen.  I collaboratored with the CNLS, COSIM, and CCS-2 groups there.
